NewsKeep up to date with everything on the site here! 16/04/2025 - Still Kicking Been a little bit since the last update. I think that's just gonna be a recurring thing, but I'm happy I managed to get some stuff done on here today! I mentioned in the last news update that I wasn't sure about some of the style of writing, and I still agreed two years later, so I've made adjustments through the whole site. As much as this site is tongue-in-cheek with the tiled backgrounds and old GIFs, I still want it to reflect me and my personality as well. The Mogeko Castle MIDIs have been replaced with MapleStory songs, too. I was never particularly attached to the old songs, but I really adore MapleStory and its soundtrack. The thing that inspired me to push some updates was a discussion with some fellow Space Station 14 players - a large focus of today's update is on this new section, so be sure to check it out! It's really just a hub for some character writing for now, and not in terms of backstory, but mostly in terms of how they relate to myself and how they came to be. 01/07/2023 - Three Years On Hey! It's been a little while, hasn't it? I blasted through making this website over the course of three days then quickly moved onto other stuff, but this little corner of the internet has always been in the back of my mind, if only just a little. A Neocities thread on a nice little forum called Knockout gave me a little push to come back and make a few changes! Of course, quite a few things have changed in the past few years. I'm trans now! I'm not so sure about some of the 90s/00s-style writing I have in some sections of the site! I still adore the visual style though, so that's staying forever. MIDIs are also an essential part of the vibe, but I might change them around. I dunno! We'll see where we go. 06/02/2020 - And More Work! I feel like things are really getting into swing now! I've changed most of the music, since I liked the music on Dark's Dungeon way more than the others. It's nice to have MIDIs that were designed to be MIDIs, rather than adaptations of existing songs that sound kinda corny or cheesy. Of course there's a bit of irony in the late '90s/early '00s vibe going on with this site, and I do want to play into that, but I think just having MIDIs is good enough for that. Having a cheesy Friends Theme Song MIDI is great and all, but I much prefer having these types of MIDIs. As an aside, all of the current songs are from Mogeko Castle, but I don't have any particular attachment to that game...I mean, I like the OST a lot, but it's the only game I have that I could rip the MIDIs from quickly. I'll look into diversifying later! 05/02/2020 - Work, Work, Work! Progress hasn't been that fast but I'd say I'm working hard enough! I've finally gotten all the backgrounds and music sorted out for the pages, and I can finally start working on content! That's gonna take a lot of work, too...but it'll be worth it! 03/02/2020 - Hello World! Just started this website and I'm pretty excited! It's gonna take a lot of work, but I hope I can make something that you all enjoy reading. |
