Space Station 14Artemisia Gloomwing"Hello hello! Welcome Artemisia page! Artemisia friend all!" Artemisia Gloomwing was my first real character on Impstation. She has a strange and unique way of speaking that I have a whole bunch of internal rules for, and that I'm not going to list out here. This moth never works a real job. Although she hasn't been seen much recently ever since her alleged promotion to Central Command, she was most often seen as a passenger, rummaging through maintenance tunnels for toys to subject the rest of the crew to. She's almost the Bugs Bunny of Impstation, and a bit of a quantum entity. She could be anything at any time: what she is right now is just fixed as long as you're observing her. She could be a wizard, or a CentComm official, or dead outside your department's windows while a clone of her roams the station. Artemisia is kind of a reflection of my LRP (low roleplay) spirit, especially as my first character coming from a history of Space Station 13. Making a menace of myself, being loud and breaking things, engaging so little with backstories that she will never have a set history... it's all pretty LRP, with enough personality and quirks layered on top to fit into an MRP environment. Ever since being promoted to an admin, she's become sort of an "avatar" for in-character admin proceedings. Many of my responses to Central Command faxes come from Artemisia, and she's visited the station in an official capacity several times. Even so, her position as a CentComm official is just as dubious and fickle as anything else about her. She stills shows up in the drab grey outfit of a passenger sometimes, just to eat strange pills from dusty maintenance halls and die badly. |
